Due to ongoing strategic expansion across Europe, Zeus have announced the appointment of Stefano Pellegatta, taking up the role of European General Manager, responsible for day-to-day leadership of all Zeus business units across mainland Europe. Stefano Pellegatta holds a master’s degree in Production & Engineering Management, he carries a proven track record in Supply Chain Logistics, Procurement & General Management. Mr Pellegatta joined Sirap Group in February 2009, working his way up to Group Supply Chain Director, until taking responsibility as General Manager in 2016, for the Petruzalek business operating within the Sirap Group. Petruzalek was acquired by Zeus in February 2021. Stefano takes responsibility for over €100m of turnover across 15 Countries.

Speaking on the appointment, Zeus CEO, Keith Ockenden said, ‘Zeus has a development strategy throughout Europe, we are enjoying rapid growth within Manufacturing, Food Service, E-Commerce, Retail and the Logistics Sectors. European companies are looking to consolidate supply of their packaging requirements, leveraging greater economies of scale, and implementing wider environmentally friendly, innovative packaging solutions. Zeus now have reach across 15 countries, servicing over 30 markets within Europe. Our operational capability needs to be streamlined, product ranges and services aligned. We need to capitalise on our sales and distribution capabilities to ensure we maintain our growth strategy. In order to achieve this, it is vital we strengthen our leadership and communication.’
